The insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to promote natural healing and improve the function of different body systems. It can help with pain management, reduce anxiety, and help overall wellbeing.

Acu-Point Therapy

Stimulating specific points on the hands, ears or body without needles, using press pellets, heat, electric or electromagnetic stimulation. These affect the whole body to help ease pain, reduce tension and promote relaxation.

Additional Modalities

Traditional acupuncture incorporates techniques like acupressure, massage, cupping and moxibustion (heating of pressure points). We also give advice on yoga based exercises and breathing techniques



How many acupuncture sessions do I need?

The number of sessions needed varies depending on the individual and the condition being treated. We will discuss a personalised treatment plan with you.

What should I wear for a treatment?

Wearing loose and comfortable clothing makes it easy to move when lying on a treatment table. It also means that clothing doesn’t need to be taken off to reach parts of the back or knees for example.

What conditions can acupuncture treat?

Acupuncture can effectively address a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, digestive disorders, and more. We will assess your specific needs during the initial consultation.

Is acupuncture painful?

Acupuncture is generally not painful. You may feel a slight sensation as the needles are inserted, but most people find it to be a relaxing experience.

Should I stop my prescribed medications?

Definitely not. Once your condition improves you can consult with the prescribing practitioner and discuss the best course of action with them.

Appointments cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time are fully refunded.

Cancellations after the 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
